With that said, though, for any trip less than 7 days, I will happily live out of a carry-on bag rather than multiply the number of moving parts in my travel plans by checking luggage. With the exception of mconnor, most of the Toronto frequent fliers are like-minded. Also - it was great seeing you again - next time you visit, hopefully you won't be double-booked! What David said. It's *so* much nicer to be able to walk right out of the airport. (This is especially useful if you're flying internationally. I've seen situations where you have to pick up your bags and carry them through customs -- carry-ons mean that you get to jump close to the front of the line. Then add in making a connecting flight...)
